It is highly recommended not to do this step alone. Two persons are required
to avoid any damage of the instrument in case of a shock or an incautious
movement. Because of the weight of the instrument, it is not recommended
to lift the unit on your own.
9. Carefully place the height gauge on the measuring surface keeping it in a horizontal
position.
The MICRO-HITE+M are equipped with a handle directly fixed on the carriage
system.
