The cell voltage should not fall below 1.75 V during discharging. The cell voltage can be measured
as described in 6.3.2 using a multimeter. Only special test leads provided exclusively for battery mea-
surements should be used however due to the acid residues which may be present at the battery
poles. It is sufficient to check the voltage of all cells under charging current every 2 to 3 months.
