3.2.1 Indicators and Controls on LCP Front
Indicator Color Function if indicator lights Remarks
ALARM red Monitor 1 and 2 are in ALARM state (i.e. relevant sig-
nals are out of tolerance):
Alarm is set if the monitors being in executive mode
detect that the signal is radiated with defects caused
by faults in the aerial transmitter (or antenna); the
faulty transmitter is shut down and if available the
standby transmitter is changed to aerial. If the radiated
signal remains faulty the system is shut down
or
ECU fault
or
Monitor 1 and 2 are in Bypass/Maintenance Mode. executive bypass
WARNING yellow The station is supplied by battery or has a BITE war-
ning
or
Monitor 1 and 2 are in Bypass/Maintenance Mode. standby bypass
NORMAL green All transmitter and monitor equipment is switched on,
initialized and serviceable for the intended category of
operations (no WARNING and no ALARM).
