• When the instrument is powered off during reticle adjustment the resume function restores the
following screen when the power is turned back on.
When powered off during measurement of point A: point A/staff a measurement screen
When powered off during measurement of point B: point B/staff a measurement screen
When powered off while displaying difference results: difference results screen
• Auto focus functionality is not available for the DL-501 Standard. Therefore [FOCUS] is not
displayed in the screen of steps 4 and 14.
Difference calculations
The difference value can be calculated as follows.
Value at position A = {[(1st reading on staff a) - (1st reading on staff b)] + [(2nd reading
on staff a) - (2nd reading on staff b)]} /2
Value at position B = {[(1st reading on staff a) - (1st reading on staff b)] + [(2nd reading
on staff a) - (2nd reading on staff b)]} /2
Difference = absolute value of [(value at position A) - (value at position B)]
