19. CHANGING THE SETTINGS
STX/ETX (CSV)
This setting is relevant only when "Com.locat." is set to "Com".
When this setting is set to "Yes", a "start of text" (STX) code is added to the start, and an "end
of text" (ETX) code to the end of output text data.
When "Com.locat." is set to "SD" or "USB", no STX or ETX is added.
AVG out mode
This setting determines how data is output when executing measurement in average mode
using an output command from an external instrument. When this setting is set to "1", the
specified number of measurements are output without averaging. When this setting is set to "2",
the averaged value only is output.

Temperature: °C*, °F
Angle unit: degree*, gon, mil
Distance unit: meter*, feet
Feet (only displayed Int. feet*, US feet
when "feet" selected
above):
• "Temp.", "Dist unit", and "Feet" cannot be changed for a JOB already containing route data.
Items set
Date: Manually input date. (format: MMDDYYYY)
e.g. March 20, 2009 is input as "03202009".
