1.Installcleanplugsinthemotorportsandcleantheoutersurfaceofthemotor.
Aftercleaning,removetheplugsanddrainthehydraulicuidoutofthemotor.

2.Useamarkertomakeadiagonallineacrossthefrontange,body,andrear
coverforassemblypurposes(Figure105).
IMPORTANT
Whenyouclampthemotorinavise,clampthefrontangeonlyto
preventdamage.Also,useaviseequippedwithsoftjaws.
3.Clampthefrontangeofthemotorinavisewiththeshaftenddown.
4.Loosenthe4boltsfromtherearcover.
5.Removethemotorfromthevise.Turnthemotorsothattheshaftendis
facingdown,andremovethe4boltsand4lockwashers.
6.Separatetherearcoverfromthebodyandlifttherearcoverfromthemotor.
7.Liftthebodystraightupandcarefullyremoveit.Ensuretherearwearplate
remainsonthedriveandidlergearshafts.
