inFigure210)betweeneachsideoftheaxleandframe.Slidethepivotpin
throughtheframe,thrustwashers,andaxle.Ensurethattherollpinonthe
pivotpinispositionedintheframereliefs.
2.Installathrustwasher(item36inFigure210)andjamnutontothepivotpin.
Torquethejamnutto123to162N∙m(90to120ft-lb).Ensurethattherear
axlecanstillpivotfreelyafterthejamnutistightened.
3.RaisetheCrossTraxAWDcontrolmanifoldtotheframe.Positionthespacers
betweenthemanifoldandtheframe(Figure211).Securethemanifoldtothe
framewiththe3boltsand3lockwashers.
4.Closeandlatchtheradiatorscreenassembly.
5.Installthewheelmotorhousingstotherearaxle;refertoInstallingtheRear
AxleMotorHousings(page6–17).
6.Installthesteeringcylindertotherearaxle;refertoInstallingtheSteering
Cylinder(page4–156).
7.Installthe2rearwheelassemblies;refertoInstallingtheWheel(page6–6).
8.Checktherearwheeltoe-in;refertotheOperator’sManual.
9.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulicreservoirandaddcorrect
