1.Cleanthehydraulictankandsuctionstrainerwithsolvent.
2.Inspectthehydraulictankforleaks,cracks,orotherdamage.
InstallingtheHydraulicTank
1.Ifthesuctionstrainerwasremovedfromthehydraulictank,installanew,
lubricatedO-ringonthestrainer.Threadthestrainerintothetankandtorque
thestrainerto82to90N∙m(60to66ft-lb).
2.InstallthettingsthatwereremovedwithnewlubricatedO-ringstothe
hydraulictank(Figure54).RefertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAE
StraightThreadO-RingFittingintotheComponentPort)(page4–7).Tighten
thettingsto90to94N∙m(66to70ft-lb)
3.Installthehydraulictanktothemachineandsecurethetanktotheframe
withthetanksupportand2washer-headscrews.
4.Removethecapsorplugsthatwereinstalledtothehydraulichosesand
ttingsduringtheremovalprocess.
5.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringtankremovaltocorrectlyconnect
thehydraulichosestothettingsonthehydraulictank;refertoInstallingthe
HydraulicHoseandTube(O-RingFaceSealFitting)(page4–5).
6.Installthebrakehandletothemachine;refertoParkingBrakeAssembly
(page6–15).Ensurethattheoperationoftheparkingbrakesensoriscorrect
afteryouinstallthebrakehandle.
7.Fillthehydraulictankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulicuid.
8.Installtheoperatorseatandseatbase;refertoInstallingtheOperatorSeat
(page6–36).
9.Operatethemachine.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelandadjustifnecessary.
10.Checkthehydrauliccomponentsforleaks.Tightenanylooseconnections.
