Troubleshooting
CAUTION
Removeallthejewelry,especiallyringsandwatches,beforedoing
anyelectricaltroubleshootingortesting.Disconnectthebattery
cablesunlessthetestrequiresbatteryvoltage.
Fortheeffectivetroubleshootingandrepairs,youmusthaveagood
understandingoftheelectricalcircuitsandcomponentsthatareusedonthis
machine;refertotheElectricalSchematicsinAppendixA—FoldoutDrawings.
Ifthemachinehasanyinterlockswitchesthatarebypassed,connectthe
switchesforthecorrecttroubleshootingandsafety.
Note:UsetheStandardControlModuleinputandoutputLED'swhen
troubleshootinganelectricalproblemoftheGroundsmaster7210machine.
StartingProblems

•Thebatteriesaredischarged.
•Thebatterycablesarelooseorcorroded.
•ThefuseF1(15A)tothekeyswitch
isdamaged.
•Thegroundconnectionislooseorcorroded.
•Thekeyswitchorcircuitwiringisdamaged.
Thestartersolenoidclicks,butthe
starterdoesnotcrank.
Note:Ifthestartersolenoidclicks,theproblem
isnotintheinterlockcircuit.
•Thebatterychargeislow.
•Thebatteriesaredischarged.
•Thebatterycablesarelooseorcorroded.
•Thegroundconnectionislooseorcorroded.
•Thewiringatthestartermotorisdamaged.
•Thestartersolenoidorstartermotor
isdamaged.
Nothinghappenswhenyouattempttostart
theengine.TheInfoCenterdisplayoperates
withthekeyswitchintheRUNposition.
•Thetractionleversarenotinthe
NEUTRALLOCKposition.
•Theoperatorseatisunoccupied
ortheparkingbrakeisnotapplied.
