1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck(orimplement),
shutofftheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.Unlatchthehoodandraiseit.
3.Removethehairpincotter(item17inFigure215)fromtheleftsideframerod.
4.Slidethehoodtotheleftsideofthemachinetofreethehoodsupportfrom
theframerods.
5.Removethehoodfromthemachine.
6.Ifnecessary,removethehoodcomponents(Figure215).
