TheglowrelayoftheGroundsmaster7210machinehas4terminalsandallows
electricalcurrenttotheengineglowplugswhenenergized.Theglowrelayis
attachedtotheECUbracketthatislocatedabovethebattery.
TheECUenergizestheglowrelaywhenyouinitiallyturnthekeyswitchtothe
ON/PREHEATpositionandalsototheSTARTposition.
TestingtheGlowRelay
1.Unlatchthehoodandraiseit.
2.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.Disconnectthewireharness
electricalconnectorfromtheglowrelay.
Note:Beforetakingthesmallresistancereadingswithadigitalmultimeter,
shortthemultimetertestleadstogether.Themeterdisplaysasmall
resistancevalue(usually0.5ohmsorless).Thisresistanceisbecauseofthe
internalresistanceofthemultimeterandtestleads.Subtractthisvaluefrom
themeasuredvalueofthecomponentthatyouaretesting.
