RemovingthePTODriveshaft
Note:ThePTOdriveshaftremovaliseasierifthemachineispositionedon
ahoist.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck(orimplement)
tothelowestsetting,shutofftheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremove
thekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.RemovethefuseF1(15A)fromthefuseblocktopreventthePTOclutch
fromengagingaccidentally.
3.DisconnecttheendyokeofthePTOdriveshaftfromthePTOshaftofthe
transmissionasfollows:
A.RemovetherollpinfromtheendyokeandPTOshaft.
B.Loosenthe2boltsand2locknuts.
C.SlidethedriveshaftendyokefromthePTOshaft.
4.DisconnecttheendyokeofthePTOdriveshaftfromthecuttingdeckgearbox
shaftasfollows:
A.Removetherollpinfromtheendyokeandgearboxshaft.
