Asingle-sectiongearpumpisdirectlycoupledtothetransmissionwhichisdriven
bytheengine.Thisgearpumpsupplieshydraulicowforraisingandloweringthe
cuttingdeck(orimplement).Thepumptakesitssuctionfromthehydraulictank.
Thecircuitoperationforloweringthecuttingdeck(orimplement)issimilarto
raisingit.However,thehydraulicowisusedtoretracttheliftcylinderandthis
actionallowsthecuttingdeck(orimplement)tolower.
Duringtheconditionsofnotraisingorloweringthecuttingdeck(orimplement),
owfromthegearpumpisbypassedbythelift-controlmanifolddirectlytotheoil
coolerandthentothetransmission.Theowthenreturnstothehydraulictank.

Note:Theenginemustberunningtoallowthecuttingdecktobelowered.When
thebottomofthelift/lowerswitchispressed(detentposition),thedeckwilllower
fullyandthenentertheoatposition.
Whenthebottomofthelift/lowerswitchispressed(detentposition),thesolenoid
valveA/S1inthedeckliftmanifoldisenergizedtocausethevalvetoshift.The
energizedsolenoidvalveA/S1allowsapathforuidowfromthecylinderhead
ofthecylinder.Theweightofthecuttingdeckcausestheliftcylindertoretract,
allowingthecuttingdecktolowertotheground.Anoriceinthemanifold
controlstheretractingspeedoftheliftcylinderwhileloweringthecuttingdeck.
CuttingDeckFloat
Thecuttingdeckoatallowsthefullyloweredcuttingdecktofollowground
surfacecontours.ThedeckliftmanifoldsolenoidvalveA/S1staysenergizedfor
thedeckoatwhenthedeckisfullylowered.Thisenergizedsolenoidprovides
anoilpassagetoandfromtheliftcylindertoallowcylinderandcuttingdeck
movementwhilemowing.
