2.Cleanthehydraulichoseendsandttingsontheliftcontrolmanifoldto
preventcontaminantsfromenteringintothehydraulicsystem.
3.Forassemblypurposes,labelallthehydraulichosesandelectrical
connections.
4.Disconnectthehydraulichosesfromthettingsontheliftcontrolmanifold
anddrainthehosesintoasuitablecontainer.
5.Installcleancapsorplugsonthehydraulichosesandttingstoprevent
systemcontamination.
6.Disconnectthewireharnessconnectorsfromthesolenoidcoilsonthe
manifold.
7.Supportthemanifoldtopreventitfromfalling.
8.Removethe2bolts(item17inFigure122)and2lockwashersthatsecure
themanifoldtothemachine,andremovethemanifoldfromthemachine.
9.Ifthehydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromtheliftcontrolmanifold,puta
markonthettingorientationforcorrectassembly.
10.RemovethettingsfromthemanifoldanddiscardtheO-rings.
InstallingtheLiftControlManifold
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromtheliftcontrolmanifold,lubricate
thenewO-ringswithcleanhydraulicuid,positiontheO-ringstothettings,
andinstallthettingsintothemanifoldports;refertoInstallingtheHydraulic
Fittings(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittingintotheComponentPort)(page
4–7).
2.Positiontheliftcontrolmanifoldtothemachineandsecurethemanifold
withthe2boltsand2lockwashers.
3.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydraulichosesandttings.
4.LubricateandinstallthenewO-ringsontothecontrolmanifoldttings.
5.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringthemanifoldremovaltocorrectly
connectthehydraulichosestotheliftcontrolmanifold;refertoInstallingthe
HydraulicHoseandTube(O-RingFaceSealFitting)(page4–5).
6.Connectthewireharnessconnectorstothesolenoidcoilsonthemanifold.
7.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulicreservoirandaddcorrect
quantityofuidifnecessary;refertotheTractionUnitOperator’sManual.
