7.Disconnecttheupperandlowerhydraulictubes(items33and11inFigure
12)fromthe90°hydraulicttingsintheoilcooler.
8.Removethe(2each)90°hydraulicttingsfromtheoilcooler.
9.Removethe2bolts(item2inFigure12)and2angenutsthatattachthe
coolingbrackettotheradiatorframe,andremovethecoolingbracket.
10.Removethetopshroud(item44inFigure12)fromthemachine.
11.Removethebottomshroudfastenersfromtheradiator.
12.Movetheshroudawayfromtheradiatortoallowoilcoolerandradiatortobe
removedfromthemachine.
13.Carefullyremovetheoilcoolerandradiatorfromthemachine.
14.Coverorplugtheoilcooler,radiator,andthedisconnectedcoolantand
hydraulichosestopreventcontamination.
15.Ifnecessary,separatetheoilcoolerfromtheradiator(Figure13).
16.Checktheconditionoftherubberisolatormounts(item4inFigure12)and
replacethemountsifdamaged.
17.Checktheconditionofthebulbseals(items9and36inFigure12)and
replacethebulbsealsifdamaged.
InstallingtheRadiator
1.Ifremoved,installthebottomshroud(item42inFigure12).
2.Ifseparated,assembletheradiatortotheoilcooler(Figure13).
3.Removethecoversandplugsfromtheoilcooler,radiator,andthe
disconnectedcoolantandhydraulichosesthatwereinstalledduringremoval.
4.Carefullyaligntheoilcoolerandradiatorwiththeradiatorframe.
5.Installthetopshroud(item44inFigure12)totheradiator.
6.Ensurethatequalclearanceexistsatallpointsbetweenthefanshroudand
fan.
A.Tomovethefanshroudleftorright,adjustthelocationoftheradiator
intheradiatorframe.
B.Tomovethefanshroudupordown,adjustthelocationoftheshroud
ontheradiator.
7.Installthecoolingbracket(item1inFigure12)totheradiatorframe,press
thecoolingbracketatthetopwithenoughforcetocompressthebulbsealto
amaximumthicknessof6.35mm(0.25inch)beforetighteningthefasteners.
8.Connectthefollowinghosestotheradiator:
•Theupperradiatorhosethatisconnectedtothewaterpump.
•Thelowerradiatorhosethatisconnectedtotheengineblock.
•Thecoolanthosethatisconnectedtotheoverowtank.
9.UsenewO-ringsandlubricatetheO-ringswithcleanhydraulicuidbefore
installingthe90°hydraulicttings.
10.Installthe(2each)90°hydraulicttingsintotheoilcooler.
