Thetractioncircuitoperatesessentiallythesameinreverseasitdoesinthe
forwarddirection.
Whenatractionleverispulledrearward,therodconnectedtotheleverpositions
theswashplateinthetransmission-pistonpumptoprovidehydraulicuidow
fromthetransmission(portBfortherightsideorDfortheleftside).Thisuid
owstothewheelmotorandturnsthemotorinthereversedirection.The
uidowfromthewheelmotorreturnstothetransmission(portAorC)andis
continuouslypumpedwhilethetractionleverispulledrearward.
Asthetractionloadincreases,thereversetractioncircuitpressurecanincrease
totherelief-valvesettingof27,600kPa(4,000psi).Ifthecircuitpressureismore
thantherelief-valvesetting,uidowsthroughthereversereliefvalveinthe
transmissiontothelow-pressuresideoftheclosedlooptractioncircuit.

direction.
