Modulation is a core element for getting the best from the S-4
Sculpting Sampler. Animate and bring life to any parameter using the
rich and unique modulation system. Each track has four congurable
modulators that can be mapped to any parameter with almost
unlimited mapping destinations. Choose between a range of different
modulators from complex LFOs, and generative sequencers to
envelopes. Modulation is the process of inuencing or changing the
value of a parameter from another control source. Taking this concept
further, automatically modulating a parameter value using another
control parameter can expand the creative options enormously. The
S4 takes these concepts to advanced stages opening up organic
sound designs and evolving creative landscapes and more. Layering
modulation to a variety of destinations or using a combination of
modulators to a single destination makes the modulation range of
options almost endless. The creative journey is an exciting one with
experimentation, trials and exploration a fundamental part of the
sound design and music making process when working with S-4.
