All four tracks of the S-4 are combined at the master output stage
which is the nal audio stage in a project. The Master output consists
of 4 DJ style lters, one for each tracks audio output, then a master
mixer to set the nal gain levels and pan settings and lastly a master
compressor. As with tracks, audio is handled in stereo. The master
output functions are found in the mixer pages accessed with the
dedicated ‘MIX’ button. The four tracks can be muted and also a
master output audio le can be recorded from within the mix function.
It is also important to note that the main output level can be controlled
using the (SELECT) encoder when the mix page is active and visible.
