Tension/adjust the
drive belt
Risk of injury due to exposed machine parts!
Limbs, hair and clothing may become caught in rotating machine parts
causing injuries from crushing.
Wear close-fitting protective clothing.
Wear a hairnet to cover long hair.
Complete the following steps:
1. On design versions with tensioning bolts: Release the counternuts (1).
2. Adjust the tensioning bolts (2) or grub screws (3) on both sides to
tension/adjust the belt.
There is a delay before the belt responds to the adjustment. Therefore,
only adjust tension screws slightly. Wait several belt cycles before
adjusting again.
? When tensioning, the belt may only be stretched by 0.5 %.
Mark the belt with a tape or thin marker to check the stretching of the
belt.
3. Switch on the machine.
