NOTES:
1. Consult fume hood manufacturer regarding proper installation of
the hood.
2. Fasten 4-inch flexible duct to wall or fume hood so that the oven
exhausts under the hood. If the fume hood is equipped with a
fan or blower, place the end of the flexible duct at least 45 cm
(18 in.) away from the intake to the fan or blower.
3. The length of the flexible duct should not exceed 4.6 m (15 ft)
from the top of the oven to the point of exhaust.
4. No component shall have a damper, screen, louver, or other
such device that may become clogged with soot over time.
5. Do not locate exhaust point near air intakes for building. Refer
to local building codes and/or a licensed HVAC contractor for
recommended/required distance.
