5. Loosen the central attachment bolt in the bucket overlay (the bolt is secured with 2 hex
nuts).
6. Remove the bucket overlay.
7. Unscrew the 4 cross-head bolts on the cover of the electronics unit approximately
3 mm (0.12 in), raise the cover slightly and pull it o forward.
If the foam rubber seal for the cover is stuck to the surface below, carefully remove the
cover with a slothead screwdriver.
8. Place the base plate on the pedestal, so that the sensor cable runs through the opening
in the base plate.
9. Without fully tightening the 6 hex bolts, screw them into the base plate
flange with an
open-ended, 123‑mm (4.84‑in) wrench (supplied).
10. Connect the sensor cable between the terminal under the base plate and the weather
station.
