Manual settings
Under certain circumstances (e.g. iced or
misted windows), the functions of the
climate control system can be modified
manually.
Manual s ettings are stored when the
ignition is switched off.
Make ma nual settings as follow s w hen
necessary:
Wi nd ow demi sting and d e-icing
Press button V, V appears in the air
conditioning display.
The tem perature, air distrib ution and fan
are set automatically, windows are quickly
demisted and de-iced
To return to automatic mode:Press button
V or AUTO.
Heated r ear window ,
heated exterior mirrors 3
Heating operational only with engine
running.
Press button Ü, Ü appears in the air
conditioning display.
The rear window and exterior mirrors w ill
quickly be cleared of ice and cond ensa tion.
Heating is switched off a utomatica lly after
app rox . 15 m inute s. T o switch it off be fore
that time: Press button Ü again.
Disregard of these instructions may
cause the windows to become misted up,
which can lead to accidents due to lack
of proper vision.
