The control indicator illumina tes when the
ignition is switched on if the hand brake
is applied or if the brake or clutch fluid level
is too low . Further information – see
pages 158, 222.
On vehicles w ith Easytronic 3 control
indicator R flashes for a few seconds after
the ig nition is switched off if the hand
brake has not been applied.

Trailer turn signal 3
When tow ing a trailer or caravan, indicator
light fla shes at same speed as turn signals.
Does not flash if trailer or towing vehicle
turn signal fa ils.

Fuel level 3
Illuminated : Low fuel level. Fuel gauge in
reserve area.
Flashing: Fuel supply used up, fill tank
imm ediately.
Never let the tank run dry!
Petrol engines: Erratic fuel supply can
cause catalytic converter to overheat – see
pag e 145.
Diesel engines: If the tank is run dry, bleed
the fue l sy ste m as de sc rib ed on pag e 1 7 5.
