Tyre co nditio n, wh eel con dition
Drive over edges slowly and at a rig ht
angle if p os sible. Driving ov er sha rp edges
can lead to hidden tyre damage a nd wheel
dam age which is only noticed later on.
When pa rk ing, ensure that the tyres a re not
pressed against the ed ge of the kerb .
Check tyres regularly for damage (foreign
bodies, punctures, cuts, crack s, bulg es in
sidewalls). Check wheels for damage. In
the event of dam age or abnorm al wear,
consult a workshop. We recommend your

Tread depth
Check tread depth regularly.
Should the front tyres show greater wear
than the rear tyres, have b oth front wheels
exchanged with the rear wheels so that the
tyres with deeper tread are on the front
axle.
Correct tyre pressure.
For reasons of safety, tyres should be
re placed when their tre ad de pth has worn
down to 2 to 3 mm (winter tyres: 4 mm).
Dama ge may lead to tyre blow-out.
