Brakes
Brake system
The brakes are a n important factor for
traffic safety.
To improve effective ness, do not brake
unnec essarily hard for the first 200 km a fter
new brak e pa ds ha ve been fitted.
Brake pad wear must not exceed a
specified lim it. Regular maintenance as
detailed in the Service Booklet is therefore
of the utmost im porta nce for traffic sa fety.
Have worn brake pads replaced. We
recommend that you consult your Vauxhall
Authorised Repairer, who will fit pa ds that
have been tested and a pproved by
Vauxhall and guarantee optim um braking
power.
Brake pads worn to their minimum
thickness generate a grinding noise.
Continued driving p ossible. Have the brak e
pad s replaced as soon as possib le by a
workshop. We recommend your Vauxhall
Authorised Repairer.
