Initial Configuration

If you chose and configured Software Updates via the Installation Wizard as described in
Chapter 6, you do not need to perform the steps in this section, unless you now need to apply
additional required HotFixes.
Important: You must apply all required HotFixes before performing any subsequent
configuration steps described in this chapter. See “Obtaining all required HotFixes” on
page 5-1.
Applying HotFixes
This section describes how to use the Software Upgrade applet to apply one or more HotFixes
to upgrade the Wave ISM. Once you have obtained the required HotFix CAB files from your
Vertical representative, place them in one of the following locations:
• On the hard drive of the administrator PC that you will use to administer the Wave ISM
• On a network share
• On a removable USB flash drive.
