System Installation
Following are the steps that need to be observed for the regular installation of the outdoor unit:
1. Place the outdoor unit on the base.
2. Use expansion bolts to x the outdoor unit on the base.
If there are multiple outdoor units, they need to be placed on the top of each other. The method to
implement placement of the outdoor units on top of each other is shown in Figure 2-22.

There is a unique method for installing the outdoor unit higher than the indoor unit, i.e. by installing the
outdoor unit on top of the cabinet.
Following is the detailed procedure to install the outdoor unit on top of the cabinet:
1. Lift the outdoor unit removed from the cabinet on to the top of the cabinet. Refer to Figure 2-23 for the
installation direction of the AC outdoor unit.
2. Adjust the placement of the AC such that the AC foot is aligned with the corresponding screw holes on
top of the cabinet.
