Brake Fluid Precautions
NOTICE: Brake fluid attacks painted surfaces and plastic parts. Always clean spilled
brake fluid immediately with plenty of water and mild detergent.
WARNING
Do not operate the front brake with the reservoir cover removed. Fluid could overflow from
the reservoir and allow air to enter the system. Air in the brake system could cause the
brakes to malfunction.
WARNING
Use only DOT 4 Brake Fluid from a sealed container. Using the wrong brake fluid, or
allowing contaminants into the brake fluid system, can cause brake system malfunction.
