Indications for Use
The VX65 is an automatic phoropter that determines the correction of the patient's eye by
analysis of subjective refraction. The data is obtained by aligning various lenses then
verifying the patient's visual acuity. The VX65 is a global system for defining the subjective
refraction and the resulting prescription. The VX65 is composed of an automatic phoropter, a
tablet, which enables you to control the phoropter, and an optional keyboard. The VX65 can
be integrated in a complete refraction chain (with additional accessory): auto refractometer,
lensmeter, PC with patient data management software, and chart display. It is also possible
to control the VX22 chart display, from the tablet.
The VX65 is intended for use by ophthalmologists, opticians and optometrists.
