How do I stop a cross cylinder test?
➢ Do one of the following:
Finish the verification (axis then cylinder).
Select Sphere, Addition, or Prism.
Select a test that is not a visual acuity test or a dot test.
Select another accessory, including No Accessory.
How do I use the equivalent sphere feature?
➢ Go to Menu > Settings > Refraction
➢ Set S.E. fix to ‘fixed’.
The sphere is adjusted when the cylinder is changed during XCyl use
How do I use the prisms?
For vertical dissociation prisms
➢ Tap on Status of the eyes & Accessories button of right eye (#4a in paragraph Refraction
area page 34).
The accessories selector opens.
➢ Tap on prism accessory (#9 in paragraph Accessories page 36)
For horizontal dissociation prisms
➢ Tap on Status of the eyes & Accessories button of left eye (#4b in paragraph Refraction
area page 34).
The accessories selector opens.
➢ Tap on prism accessory (#9 in paragraph Accessories page 36)
In other cases
➢ Select the refraction value corresponding to the prism to be modified,
➢ Change the value using the knob or +/- buttons.
