Troubleshooting
You might encounter some of the following issues while working with the VX65. If
something wrong happens, try the to solve your problem with the following solutions
listed below:
The phoropter do not respond
➢ Check if the unit is efficiently connected to the electrical system.
➢ Check if the phoropter is correctly paired to the tablet and correctly connected in the VX65
software.
Wheels are misaligned
➢ Go to Settings menu and then Maintenance submenu. Touch the “Hard reset” button. The
phoropter will be initialized and the wheels will be newly aligned.
Chart display feedback is not present
➢ Check your tablet is correctly connected to the wanted WiFi network, the one to which the
chart display is connected (VXLAN, VXLAN,… if using a VXbox or VX24/19only, VX25 if
using direct connexion to a chart display).
FTP connexion failed
➢ Check your tablet is correctly connected to the VXbox WiFi network (VXLAN, VXLAN2,
…). If yes, try to reboot your VXbox.
