Use of the vehicle
3.1.1
Designated use
The following chapter describes the range of application of the vehicle.
The listed works were classified by the manufacturer as intended and
thus as safe.
Read this operator’s manual carefully prior to the first drive.
Always work carefully and cautiously with the vehicle. This effectively pre-
vents accidents.
The vehicle has been designed and built in accordance with state-of-the-
art standards and the recognized safety regulations. Nevertheless, its use
can pose a danger to life and limb of the operator or of third parties, or
cause damage to the vehicle and to other material property.
The vehicle may only be operated in accordance with its intended pur-
pose, safety and danger-consciously, taking into account the operator’s
manual and in a technically perfect condition. In particular, faults which
could impair safety must be rectified immediately!
The vehicle is used to carry out work cycles. A work cycle consists of
picking up, raising, transporting and unloading material. The material
must correspond to the use of the attachment, e.g. move solid earth with
only one earth bucket. The safety instructions, warning notices and regu-
lations listed in this operator’s manual must be observed for each work
cycle.
Approved attachments can change the intended use of the vehicle (e.g.
working platform or pallet fork). Ensure that only attachments approved
for the vehicle are used with any necessary additional equipment.
Intended use also includes observing the operator’s manual and ob-
serving the maintenance conditions!
Any other or more use of the vehicle beyond this is not intended!
3.1.2
Unintended use
The manufacturer is not liable for personal injury or damage to property
resulting from improper use. Among other things, the following activities
with the vehicle are not intended:
• Lifting or transporting persons in the vehicle or attachment.
• Using the vehicle as a working platform.
• Lifting or transporting loads without the attachment being designed
for this purpose.
• Using the vehicle after a malfunction or damage without having it pro-
fessionally repaired.
• Using the vehicle after major modifications have been made.
• Using the vehicle for demolition or forestry applications where there is
a risk of falling objects.
