Preparations for work on tires and axles
1. Park the vehicle on a stable, level and dry surface.
2. Secure the vehicle with the parking brake.
3. Retract the loader unit and lower it to the ground.
4. Switch off the ignition and remove the starting key.

Changing wheels
1. Position the jack underneath the axle, next to the wheel to be
changed.
ð The position at which the jack must be positioned is marked with
the label next to it.
2. Ensure that the vehicle cannot slip off the jack. Secure the vehicle
with additional supports if necessary.
3. Loosen the wheel bolts.
4. Lift the jack only until the wheel no longer touches the ground.
5. Unscrew the wheel bolts.
ð The wheel can be removed.
6. Position a new wheel.
7. Tighten the wheel bolts hand-tight.
8. Lower the jack.
9. Alternately tighten the opposite wheel bolts to the prescribed torque.
ð Tighten the wheel bolts again after 2 hours of operation. If necessary,
repeat until the tightening torque remains constant.

9.17.1
Following maintenance intervals
Certain maintenance intervals apply to your vehicle, with work that must
be carried out by an authorized service center. This inspection is neces-
sary annually or every 500 operating hours. Contact your authorized ser-
vice center for this.
