Cleaning and maintaining vehicle
9.8.1
Information on cleaning and care
NOTICE
Damage to vehicle due to cleaning work!
When cleaning the vehicle, pay particular attention to the underside
of the vehicle. Do not allow dirt to collect on the engine or gearbox.
Do not clean sensitive electrical components such as alternators,
fuse boxes, control levers, etc. with a high-pressure cleaner.
Environment
Avoid environmental damage!
Clean the vehicle in a suitable place where the dirty waste water can
be collected in an environmentally friendly manner.
Collect contaminated water and dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly manner.
When cleaningthe vehicle with a high-pressure cleaner, observe the fol-
lowing:
Maximum water pressure 130 bar.
Maximum water temperature 80 °C.
In order to avoid damage to labels and other sensitive parts, do not hold
the nozzle of the high-pressure cleaner too close to the vehicle.
9.8.2
Cleaning the air filter
NOTICE
Damage to the engine caused by a dirty air intake system!
Engine damage can occur if the engine draws in dirty air.
Perform maintenance on the air filter according to the maintenance
intervals specified in this operator’s manual.
Do not let the engine run if parts of the air intake system are re-
moved.
Immediately replace damaged air filters.
