9.6.1.1
Refueling
Fig.177: Fill opening for fuel
The fill opening is located at position 1 on the vehicle.
1. Retract the loader unit and lower it to the ground.
2. Switch off the ignition and remove the starting key.
3. Open the engine cover.
4. Open the lid of the fill opening and unscrew it.
5. Refuel the vehicle.
6. Close the fill opening carefully after refueling.
7. Close and lock the engine cover.
Environment
Fuel is harmful to the environment!
► Avoid releasing it into the environment.
► Immediately absorb diesel fuel leaks, spills or overflowing fuel with a
binding agent.
► Dispose of fuel or binding agent in an environmentally friendly man-
ner and separately from other waste.
► If larger quantities of fuel are released, notify the competent authorit-
ies (e.g. nature conservation authority, fire brigade, etc.).
9.6.1.2 Water separator maintenance
Preparation for maintenance In the engine compartment
1. Park the vehicle on a stable, level and dry surface.
2. Secure the vehicle with the parking brake.
3. Retract the loader unit and lower it to the ground.
4. Switch off the ignition and remove the starting key.
5. Let the engine cool down.
6. Open the engine cover.
