Operating states of the regeneration
Fig.209: Control light in display
During use of the vehicle, soot particles are deposited in the diesel partic-
ulate filter. This soot load increases and is removed from the diesel par-
ticulate filter by regeneration.
Operating states engine Deutz TCD 2.9
• At a soot load <100%, the vehicle automatically starts a regenera-
tion. The control light
illuminates during the entire regeneration
and goes out once this is completed.
• At a soot load between 100% and 125%, a regeneration must be
triggered manually. The control light
flashes slowly.
• At a soot load between 125% and 143%, a regeneration must be
triggered manually. The control light
flashes quickly.
• At a soot load >143%, the regeneration must be triggered at a stand-
still. The control light
flashes quickly and the control light lamp
illuminates continuously.
• With a soot load >161 %, the control light
and the control light
flash. A regeneration or repair can only be performed by the service
department.
