The PROFI-Display
102 Operating Manual
The Standard Controls
The standard controls are identical to each sound.
Volume
Here the corresponding volume for the manual is displayed. Depending on the organ type, the first selectors
can be controlled via drawbars on the left control panel.
Panorama, Reverb 1 and 2, Chorus and Echo
The Panorama knob can be used to adjust the position of the sound in the stereo image. With the controls
Reverb 1 and 2, Chorus and Echo, the effect parts (Send) are set for this sound.
For example, if you want more reverb on a sound, slide the Reverb 1 or 2 slider further up. In the factory
setting, reverb 1 is occupied with a "normal" reverb program and the Hall 2 with a longer reverb program.
Attack and Release
The Attack and Release values affect the current settings within the sound, with no influence in the center
position.
Please note: If no attack has been programmed with the currently selected sound (i.e. the sound starts
directly), you cannot expect any effect in the lower part of the controller.
"From sound" or "from slider"
Each sound stored in your instrument has individual settings for the effects. These settings are always active
when you have placed the sound "fresh" on the selector. Therefore, the "From Sound" setting is activated.
As soon as you move one of the sliders, the setting jumps to "From the slider" and you have changed the
factory setting.
You can always return to the factory setting by resetting the "From the slider" setting back to "From sound".
The Sound Controls
For each sound, six sound controls have been saved, which you can use to influence a sound. Which
functions are adjustable with it are specified by the selected sound.
