OAX-System 141
7.10.3.3 The delay
The Echo effect causes a "phrase repetition", which is popular with guitar sounds. There are 7 different Echo
programs available, which you can use in the three areas manuals, accompaniment and drums. You can set
and save more yourself.
Mix
Here the volume of the echo is set. The identical setting can also be found in the quick
operation of the effects in the chapter 4.8.3.2 Fast operation.
Sync
When setting ON, the Echo always has exactly the speed of the currently set tempo.
Delay
When the tempo SYNC is switched off, the delay time from 0 to 1500ms will be set. As soon as
the tempo SYNC is switched on, note values can be entered here. If, for example, the value is
1/4, the echoes are generated in 1/4 notes.
Feedback
At center position 0% comes only one echo. The more the setting towards L/R or R/L is set,
there will be more and more echoes spread over left/right or right/left.
Balance
Here you can choose whether the echoes will end more on the left or right stereo side.
Damp
The echoes always become a bit duller in the repetitions when the value goes against 100%.
The "Reset to Default" button sets the delay settings to the values as they are
originally stored in the currently selected Total Preset.
