Changing mapping for sounds and accompaniment
168 Operating Manual
The "Show mapping" function is switched on in normal operation. Each time you select a sound or ACC
button, the corresponding mapping is displayed.
If you have made your own mapping with your own favorite sounds, you may not want the mapping to open
every time in live operation. We have given an example of this below.
Important note: If the "Show mapping" function is switched off, you can open the mapping again by holding
down a sound or ACC button for a longer period of time.
Step next off -> If you press a new sound or ACC button, the first sound or the first accompaniment of the
mapping is selected directly. When you press the button the second time, the mapping jumps to the next
mapping page, but without selecting another sound or accompaniment.
Step next on -> Now the sound or accompaniment step to the next sound/ACC by one each time a button is
pressed. For example, if you have assigned four trumpet sounds to your own mapping on the trumpet
button, you can switch to each sound by pressing the button several times. If you have four sounds or styles
on your mapping, you can return to the first mapping position by pressing five times. The “Step next”
function therefore runs in a circle.
If a new sound or ACC button is pressed, it always starts again with the first sound or the first
accompaniment.
Which combinations result from this:
Note: In the following examples we describe the behavior of a tone color button. The same applies, of
course, to the buttons in the Accompaniment area.
