4.9 Indirect/Read Light Switch
Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures
4. Note the color of the wires as you disconnect the three wires from the back
of the switch.
5. Remove the switch (A) from the faceplate (C).
Replacement
1. Install the switch (A) on the faceplate (C).
2. Install the three wires on the back of the switch locating, the colors as noted
during removal.
3. Install the faceplate (C) with screws (B) on the raceway.
4. Tighten the screws.
5. Remove the lockout and out-of-service tags.
6. Set the circuit breaker to the ON position.
7. Test the switch to ensure it is operational.
