2.3 Line Voltage Switch Does Not Operate Attached Device
SHOCK HAZARD:
Use care when checking live voltages. Do not touch live terminals,
wires, and ground. Failure to use caution could result in personal injury.
1. All other Integris® 2001 Headwall System electrical systems are
operational.
Yes No
↓ → Restore electrical service from the building to the Integris®
2001 Headwall System.
2. If so equipped, the applicable Integris® Headwall 2001 Headwall System
circuit breaker is in the ON position.
Yes No
↓ → Reset the applicable circuit breaker to the ON position.
3. The line voltage switch is operative.
Yes No
↓ → Go to step 5.
4. Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-5.
5. Perform the following:
a. Gain access to the line voltage switch.
b. Place the switch in the OFF position.
c. Measure the voltage across the switch terminals.
A voltage of 109 to 125V AC is present.
Yes No
↓ → Go to step 7.
6. Perform the following:
a. Place the applicable circuit breaker in the OFF position.
b. Place the line voltage switch in the ON position.
c. Check for continuity across the switch terminals.
Continuity is present.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the line voltage switch. See “Line Voltage Switch” on
page 4-9.
