Preparation for
Installing CPU-
NXT 3.2 (BB2
and BBxD)
This section contains steps that must be completed before installing CPU-NXT 3.2.
NOTES:
 To upgrade CPU-NXT 2 to CPU-NXT 3.2, see Installation: CPU-NXT 3.2 into the BB2 on
page 3 or Installation: CPU-NXT 3.2 into the BBxD on page 14 depending on the gaming
cabinet.
 To upgrade CPU-NXT 3 to CPU-NXT 3.2, see Upgrading CPU-NXT3 to CPU-NXT 3.2 on
page 26.
 Before upgrading a game from CPU-NXT2 or CPU-NXT3, ensure the replacement game
theme and OS are compatible with CPU-NXT 3.2
 All instructions for the BB2 configuration are also valid for the BB2e configuration.
ESD: When handling CPU-NXT 3.2 away from the game, observe the following ESD Precautions
listed in Preventing Injury and Damage on page 1-3.
