7.3.6.1 Decomposition of caliper
Note: Before decomposing the caliper, remove the brake
fluid in the master cylinder, oil line and caliper, and re-
move the oil line.
●
Disassembly the caliper piston and blow the oil hole with
compressed air so that the piston is forced out by air pres-
sure.
Warning
●
Do not attempt to remove the piston by a tool or other
means.
●
Cover the piston with a piece of cloth and do not damage
the piston when blown out.
●
Disassembly the dustproof oil seal - 1 -.
●
Disassembly the piston oil seal - 2 -.
When disassembling, the oil seal can be pushed and
removed by finger.
Caution:
●
Do not disassembly with sharp tools.
●
The oil seal needs to be installed with new products
after disassembly.
