SPTfromthesharedtree.WhentheRPreceivesaRegistermessagesentfromanew
multicastsource,theRPreturnsaJoinmessagetotheDRdirectlyconnectingtothe
multicastsource.Thus,theSPTfromthesourcetotheRPisconstructed.
AfteraDRorarouterdirectlyconnectingtomulticastmembersreceivestherstmulticast
packetfromthemulticastgroup,orthereceivedpacketsreachesathreshold,itcanswitch
totheSPTfromthesharedtree.Oncethehandoveroccurs,theroutersendsaPrune
messagetotheupstreamneighborandrequeststoleavethesharedtree.
