50.3 USB Storage
The ZyWALL can use a connected USB device to store the system log and other
diagnostic information. Use this screen to turn on this feature and set a disk full
warning limit.
Note: Only connect one USB device. It must allow writing (it cannot be read-only) and
use the FAT16, FAT32, EXT2, or EXT3 file system. The ZyWALL uses the
partition identified as “sda1”.
Click Configuration > System > USB Storage to open the USB Storage
screen.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyWALL.
Reset Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings.

Activate USB

Turn USB storage on or off. You need to enable USB storage both here
and for a specific feature (such as system logs or diagnostics) in order to
have the ZyWALL store data on a connected USB storage device.
Disk full

Set a minimum free disk space threshold for generating a warning. You
can set a specific number of free megabytes or a percentage of the
available disk space.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyWALL.
Reset Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings.
