8.3 Configuring the Default L2TP VPN
Connection Example
1 Click Configuration > VPN > Network > IPSec VPN to open the screen that
lists the VPN connections. Double-click the Default_L2TP_VPN_Connection
entry.
2 Click the Show Advanced Settings button. Configure and enforce the local and
remote policies.
• Create an address object that uses host type and contains the My Address IP
address that you configured in the Default_L2TP_VPN_GW. The address
object in this example uses the wan1 interface’s IP address (172.16.1.2) and
is named L2TP_IFACE.
•Set the Application Scenario to Remote Access (Server Role).
•Set the Local Policy to use L2TP_IFACE.
•Click OK.
