3.8.2 Installing the shield

Proceed as follows:
1. Turn the shield for heat evacuation to the rear or front (refer to Figure 45
or Figure 46) whichever is appropriate for your installation.
2. Locate the fixing position of the shield in the 19-inch rack or within the
ETSI adapters above the FAMO1 or FAMO1-F (option) or above the
FOX615 subrack (refer to Figure 6 and Figure 15 respectively).
3. Lift the shield into position and secure the shield with four M6 screws.
4. Tighten the M6 screws provisionally.

For efficient heat evacuation of the heat produced below the FOX equipment
the installation of a heat evacuation shield (proper orientation) below the
cable tray is recommended (refer also to Figure 4).
