INPUT SELECT function
Two basses, for example, an electric bass guitar and an acoustic bass, can be connected to the B6 and
switched for use one at a time.
The input jacks have impedance selection switches, so the input can be set to suit the connected bass.

DI section function
The DI section of the B6 has four types that reproduce the characteristics of vacuum tube and solid-state
DIs and can be selected as desired.
The DI type can be selected easily using the dedicated switch.
(→Selecting the input (DI TYPE))
What is DI?
DI is an abbreviation for “Direct Injection Box,” which is a device for converting high-impedance signals
output from electric basses to low impedance. By connecting one, signals output from a bass can be
sent efficiently to PA systems, for example. They suppress noise when used during live performance and
recording.
Each DI also has its own characteristics that affect the sound. The B6 includes models of 4 typical DIs that
can be selected according to playing style and preference.
