3 Installation
Two Drain Arrangements
The waste rinse solution drains from the wash reservoir by means of a
gravity drain, which is the standard arrangement for draining the wash
reservoir. If preferred, you can create a pumped drain arrangement. This
section introduces the gravity drain arrangement and the pumped drain
arrangement.
Gravity Drain Arrangement
In a gravity drain arrangement, the rinse solution moves through a
channel (and two channels for dual port wash reservoir) of the peristaltic
pump to the inlet of the wash reservoir, as shown in Figure 16. It then
drains out from the outlet of the wash reservoir into the waste container
by means of a gravity drain.

Pumped Drain Arrangement
In a pumped drain arrangement, the rinse solution moves through a
channel (or two channels for dual port wash reservoir) of the peristaltic
pump to the inlet of the wash reservoir. It then drains out from the outlet
of the wash reservoir into the waste container through other channel of
