236 Math Instructions
MATH FLAGS EFFECTS
• Carry: shall be set or reset based on the result of the last instruction
in the Expression.
• Overflow: shall be set any time an overflow occurs during the
evaluation of the Expression. This bit never cleared in the CPT
instruction.
• Zero: shall be set if the lower 31 bits of float result of Destination are
all zero (handles negative zero), otherwise reset.
• Sign: shall be set if the most significant bit of Destination is set (bit
31 for float), otherwise reset.
The Math Overflow Trap Bit shall ONLY be set if the Overflow bit is set.
Otherwise, it remains in last state.
